What’s Doing?
HOPE Ranch Learning Academy will present its 2nd annual “Stars of HOPE” Horse Jamboree, which celebrates the horsemanship achievements of their students. Most of Academy’s students are diagnosed with Autism and learning disabilities. Learn more about HOPE Youth Ranch.

During this event, these students will be showcasing their horsemanship skills at this family-friendly event. Experience the ranch, along with:
— Student Horsemanship Showcase: riding, grooming, cantering, trotting, figure 8 and an obstacle course demonstration at the riding arena (10:30 a.m.-12 p.m.)
— Tour the school/ranch
— Autism support groups information
— Compete in the Chili Cook-Off
— Pony rides
— Clown
— Games (cornhole toss, hay bale horse hula hoop, and more)
— Music
— Food vendors and flavored ice

What’s Doing?
Celebrate the re-opening of the Highland Family Aquatic Center during this all-ages family event. Enjoy the many water features and slides, as well as a hot dog or chicken sandwich (while supplies last). Plus, there will be door prizes and giveaways. Splashes snack bar will be open as well. Chick-fil-a*, Walmart, Regal Entertainment Group are sponsoring this event.

What’s Doing?
Parents of tweens (children age 8-13) are invited to bring them for an fun and informative afternoon that focuses on the tween years. There will be breakout sessions on topics such as healthy food, exercise tips, drinking, drugs, texting and driving, staying safe online, and more.

By the way, also taking place before the Tween event is an event for Mom from 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. — “Speaking of Women’s Health.” The morning is all about women, and includes FREE health screenings and breakout sessions on topics such as stress relief, face lifts, exercise, nutrition as we age, managing menopause, and more. Tickets for the “Speaking of Women’s Health” event are also $5, and registration begins at 8 a.m.
