What’s Doing?
Tampa Bay Downs will once again host their Kids and Family Days and Fiesta Family Days on select Sundays in February and March. Festivities take place in the Picnic Area, which offers a concession stand, restroom and betting windows for the adults. It is located trackside to witness all of the horse racing action up close! Kids can watch the horses and jockeys as they enter and exit the track, and you can walk beside the track to the Grandstand for additional concession options, or to just check it out.

— Kids & Family Day:
Special FREE activities for children will be available to entertain families between races. Activities in the past have included pony rides and a bounce house. (Activities may vary)

— Family Fiesta Day:
In addition to horse racing, guests can enjoy FREE Latin entertainment, and fun family activities like pony rides, games and a bounce house. (Activities may vary)

PUBLISHER’S NOTE: I attended this event with my family in 2011, I would suggest that you bring some folding chairs. Also, if you prefer that your kids not drink soda, I would suggest bringing some juice boxes or waters with you. The track does offer food and drinks at concessions stand in the Picnic Area and at the Grandstand, but options for children can be limited.
