What’s Doing?
Creative Arts Theatre of the City of Tampa Parks and Recreation Department will present this puppet show for children in grades K-5th at various locations throughout Hillsborough County. The story takes place in far away China, where the emperor and his court are enchanted by the beautiful song of the nightingale. Disappointed with the nightingale’s plain appearance, the emperor chooses an ornately bejeweled mechanical bird, but later learns its true value is in its beautiful melody.

What’s Doing?
Bits ‘N Pieces Puppet World will present three winter stories: “The Elves and the Shoemaker,” (performed with hand puppets), “Hans Brinker and the Silver Skates” (performed with shadow puppets), and Scrooge’s Sing-Along with marionettes. These three family-friendly stories will warm your heart.

Even Better! Following the show, there will be a make-and-take puppet workshop.
