The public is invited to this FREE family fun day event at the Land O’Lakes Community Market. The event kicks-off with a breakfast with Santa. Santa will arrive by motorcycle for complimentary pancakes from 9-10 a.m.
Mom and Dad will enjoy browsing the market while holiday music is played by Elementary, Middle and High School musical groups. The Kid’s Christmas Corner will feature a variety of activities, including:
— Face painting
— Ornament making, greeting card coloring, and craft gifts
— 3 Blacklight Puppet Shows by VAN DYKE PFC
— Harry Potter’s Castle Moonwalk
Bring lawn chairs to enjoy the music “on the green,” and canned food donations for Metropolitan Ministries.

This amazing light display has been a tradition for many since 1977. More than 500,000 lights cover a half-acre. Many of the lights are computerized to music and flashing to help save money. (the cost of electric is nearly $5,000!) In addition to lights, this installation includes:
— Hand-on games and a bubble machine
— Two outdoor TV presentations
— Several inflatables
— A Manger scene with more than 150 pieces
— Two large mirrored balls to give a snowflake effect
— An 18-train HO-scale railroad with carnival rides
— A talking and dancing life-size snowman, and many other animated items
