What’s Doing?
The Island Outpost Restaurant is hosting this two-day music festival to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Musicicians will perform beginning at 12 p.m. on both days. The festival will feature a silent auction, raffles, live music, and a huge smoker for BBQ. Plus, this family-friendly event will include children’s activities, including bouncy castles, face painting and balloon animals.

Bands performing on Saturday: Stones (a tribute band), Groupers, Blinky Fritz Band, Single Malt Brothers, and Slickside (featuring Joe Lala of Crosby, Still, Nash, and Young).

Bands performing on Sunday: Slickside (with David Muse of Firefall and the Marshall Tucker Band), Gypsy Wind, Soupbone of the Greg Billings Band, and Stormbringer.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world’s largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer. The organization’s mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS funds life-saving blood cancer research around the world and provides free information and support services.
