What’s Doing?
Training Camp 2011 begins soon, and for the 3rd consecutive year it will be held at One Buccaneer Place, the team’s state-of-the-art headquarters. Much of the action will be open to the fans (and all of it is FREE), and this year’s schedule calls for an even wider selection of public practices. There are a total of 8 open dates, all for full-scale workouts, beginning the evening of Friday, July 29. The full public schedule is below. (Note: by the collectively-bargained terms of the new deal, padded practices are not allowed during the first three days of any training camp.)

Fans visiting the Bucs Training Camp can expect: public sessions held on Field 3 for optimal viewing, autograph sessions, FREE parking, a merchandise tent, discounted concessions, and appearances by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders and Captain Fear.

Night Practice at Raymond James Stadium (Saturday, August 6 from 6:45-9:30 p.m.) is sponsored by Bright House, and features practice under the lights, FREE parking, $1 hot dogs and soft drinks, plus a fireworks show. Admittance is FREE here as well.

What’s Doing?
The North Greenwood Back To School/Wellness Fest is the largest of its kind in North Pinellas County with over 1,200 participating in the festival last year. Get the kids ready for school at this event with FREE wellness exams and immunizations (with child records), and vendors distributing samples and information on their products or services. More than 1,000 backpacks filled with school supplies will be available for children.
