What’s Doing?
Bring the family out for a special holiday light display featuring 1 million LED lights, and “Stroll Through Story Land.” Spend some time at each of the picnic shelters to listen to some classic holiday stories, and treat the family to delicious foods and desserts. The tree will be lit at 7 p.m.

Live performances — aerial acrobatics, dancing, singing, and puppets — will take place on the mobile stage, and at other locations around the park. Performers include Dance & Circus Arts of Tampa Bay, LHS Madrigal Singers, LHS Band of Gold, Tutterow Dancers, Late Night Brass, Largo Smuppets and more!

Also Happening:

What’s Doing?
Your whole family will be astounded by the beauty of more than 500,000 lights illuminating the thousands of plants and trees throughout the Florida Botanical Gardens. Kick-off this holiday season by experiencing the annual Holiday Lights, enjoy nightly family-friendly entertainment, and browse vendor booths and the Botanical Bounty gift shop for special holiday gifts. Santa Claus will be on hand whenever he can get away from the North Pole.

There will also be some special events taking place at the Gardens this December:
— Gift and Plant Sale (Sunday, Dec. 11; 10 a.m.-4 p.m.): This day-long event takes place in the formal gardens with more than 45 vendors selling plants and specialty gift items. Entry to the Gardens is FREE during the daylight hours.
— Dog Parade (Saturday, Dec. 31; 2 p.m.): Register your pet between 1-1:45 p.m. The cost to participate is $5/dog/category. Six categories are available: best costumed, sit and stay on command, best trick, best smile, most handsome boys, and prettiest girls. You can also visit vendors booths from 12-4 p.m.
