What’s Doing?
Parent University is a FREE series of informational sessions supporting the academic life of children in kindergarten through 12th grade. Sessions will be focused on academic and support programs in Hillsborough County Public Schools, effective strategies families can use to help every child succeed, and ways to advocate for the resources necessary for our public schools. View a list of sample Parent University classes.

School district representatives, along with district community-based partners, will conduct these sessions, which are designed to be informative, fun and interactive.

Even Better! A continental breakfast is included for all attendees, and if you register in advance, childcare will be provided at no cost by HOST (the Hillsborough Out of School Time program) for those families with children age 5-12 years.

Parent University is a collaboration of the Alliance for Public Schools, Hillsborough County Council PTA/PTSA, Hillsborough County Public Schools, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, and United Way Suncoast.
