What’s Doing?
Join Color Me Mine at both South Tampa Beef O’Brady’s locations on the first Tuesday evening of each month for
a “Kid’s Eat Free and Paint Free” event! Kids can actually paint a small piece while at the restaurant. Color Me Mine also provides a free studio fee coupon when kids return to pick-up their piece at the restaurant the following week.

Mr. Strong Foundation: Helping Special Needs Families

Mr. Strong Foundation LogoWhat’s Doing?
The Mr. Strong Foundation was founded to help special-needs children receive occupational, speech and physical therapy needs not being covered by insurance. If you have a child that meets this criteria, download their Grant Application, compile your grant package, and submit it to the address provided on the application.

The Mr. Strong Foundation may be able to help alleviate the financial stress that paying out of pocket for occupational, physical and speech therapy services is causing your family. The Foundation does not ask questions regarding how much money your family makes.

They Want to Help, But You Need to Apply
Log onto www.mrstrongfoundation.org and click the “Need Help” tab. Download, complete and submit the grant application. The Mr. Strong Foundation Grant Review Committee will review it and get back to you with an answer as soon as possible.

What’s Doing?
Nearly every month, the Center holds a FREE Books and Art for Kids event where hundreds of gently-used books are distributed to local children to encourage them to read. Every child may take home up to five gently-used books. These books are donated by families and organizations.

At each event, the Community Learning Center provides snacks, arts and crafts, and face painting, and they often have a children’s book author attend to read a book to the kids.
