What’s Doing?
The Hillsborough County Public Schools Student Nutrition Services Department will host its annual Fresh Flavors Expo, where students will have the opportunity to taste and rate 27 new menu options for the 2012-13 school year.

What’s Doing?
AAA is looking for five families to experience the most popular theme parks in Florida. If you think your family has what it takes, casting calls will be held at various AAA offices and attractions to help you shoot your entry video.

Casting Call Schedule:
To enter, you and your family will need to create a video telling AAA why you should be one of the AAA Families on Tour. You can shoot the 2-minute video at home and submit your video online, or you can participate in a casting call event for help shooting the video entry. Entries must be received by August 1, 2012.
— June 30: Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo
— July 24: Seminole (6-9 p.m.; FREE)
— July 26: Carrollwood (6-9 p.m.; FREE)

The AFHM offers a unique Duffle Bag Program for teachers and homeschoolers of 5th-12th grade students. Duffle bags can be reserved FREE of charge for two weeks, and offer students hands-on experience with authentic artifacts from either WWI, WWII, the Korean War or the Vietnam War. The bags include such items as:
— Army Ammo Belt with accoutrements such as a signal flag and a Brodie helmet
— Photographs of family members
— Letters
— Unit photographs
