What’s Doing?
Community Learning Center will be hosting this fun family event where they will distribute hundreds of gently used books (donated by families and organizations) to local children in order to encourage them to read. At this FREE Books for Kids event, there will also be snacks, crafts and theatrical storytelling to entertain the children. Every child may choose up to five books to take home.

What’s Doing? Wentworth Golf Club wants families to spend quality time golfing together this summer, and to help out, they are giving kids a FREE round of golf and a FREE kids meal every Sunday, now through August 31. You will receive a FREE 18-hole round of golf for your child age 16 and younger when you purchase an adult 18-hole green fee. Kids FREE Bucket Summer Program
Ace Golf is offering kids age 5-15 and younger one FREE bucket of range balls every day, June-August. Kids can brush up on their swing at Ace Golf Range in Brandon and Riverview, Pebble Creek Golf Club in New Tampa, and Wentworth and Crescent Oaks Golf Clubs in Tarpon Springs. Stop in anytime (now through August 31) to pick up a punch card. No purchase is required to participate, but an adult must accompany the child.
Kids Play FREE After 12 p.m.
In addition, kids age 16 and younger can also play a full round of golf for FREE any day this summer after 12 p.m. with a regular price adult greens fee at Wentworth, Crescent Oaks and Pebble Creek Golf Clubs.

What’s the Deal?
USF’s Music Education Department will be holding a summer piano camp for children age 9-12, as part of a research study on how musical training affects hearing and cognition. Classes will meet every weekday for two weeks, from July 1-12.
If eligible, your child will be given FREE piano lessons and a FREE hearing screening. However, you will be responsible for purchasing your own books, at a cost of $19.99.
Criteria for Eligibility
— Your child must be between the ages of 9-12
— Your child must have NO diagnosed neurological disorders
— Your child must have had fewer than four months of formal musical training
