What’s Doing?
Join in the fun during world’s largest day of amphibian education and conservation action! This is the 2nd year for this Tampa area event. Spend a few hours in a natural Florida setting learning how to help frogs and the environment. Enjoy educational frog games, activities, and be part of Florida’s Largest (Human) Frog Chorus ever.

Event Schedule:
— 10 a.m.-1 p.m.: Fun, educational frog activities (Sample activities: explore cool ways to help frogs and the environment, decorate the “Save the Frogs Day” banner, get a frog tattoo and play some frog games, take a photo with the ConserveItForward frog)
— 11 a.m.: Frog listening hike
— 11:30 a.m.: Frog talk
— 12 p.m.: Frog listening hike
— 12:30 p.m.: Frog talk
— 1 p.m.: Be part of Florida’s largest (human) frog chorus ever. (All participants will receive a ribbon)
— 1:15 p.m.: Prize drawing

Even Better! All attendees will receive one prize drawing ticket. You can purchase additional drawing tickets. (You must be present to win.)

Save the Frogs! is America’s first and only public charity dedicated exclusively to amphibian conservation. Camp Bayou Outdoor Learning Center is a nature preserve open to the general public with trails, nature center, fossil museum, native camp, picnic tables and events throughout the year.

What’s Doing?
CARD is hosting their 7th Annual Fiesta by the Bay — a family-friendly, Autism-friendly fundraiser featuring food provided by Tijuana Flats, dancing, live DJ, a silent auction, and fun for the family.

A table side magician will demonstrate his magic while strolling through the crowd; he will also show the kids (and adults) how to perform their very own disappearing coin trick, and kids will get to take the coin trick home with them and amaze their friends! Plus, the Florida Aquarium will have an educational exhibit and interactive activities for children and their families to enjoy. And finally, Joey’s Voice for Autism will be hosting a “Salsa for your Sweets” (similar to a Cake Walk) activity throughout the evening.

Even Better! All of the evenings activities are designed to be Autism friendly.

NOTE: All proceeds from ticket sales and our silent auction will go back into the community to create more training, autism awareness events, and more.
