Annual Holiday Model Train Display in Palm Harbor

What’s Doing?
Model trains have long been part of the holidays, and one annual Palm Harbor train display will be opening to the public soon. The display will feature five trains running simultaneously:
— Two custom “O”-gauge Lego trains
— One MTH “O”-gauge train featuring a “Big Boy” steam engine
— One Lionel “Standard”-gauge train featuring a “Brute” engine
— A trolley and Kato “N”-gauge train

The display is located at 1581 Cumberland Court East, Palm Harbor, FL (in the Allen’s Ridge development off of Tampa Road.) Allen’s Ridge development can be found off of Tampa Road, across from Palm Harbor Middle School. Cumberland is the second street on the right after you turn off of Tampa Road into the development.

Crossover Church would like to welcome everyone in the community to their Christmas Block Party. There will be lots of fun activities for the kids in the “Kids Zone,” including:

Plus, Crossover Church will be giving away FREE groceries, FREE clothes, FREE haircuts, FREE food, and a FREE toy for each child, while supplies last. ‘Tis the season for giving!

Christmas Night and Day Runs on the Central Pasco & Gulf Railroad

What’s Doing?
The Central Pasco & Gulf Railroad (CP&G), is a 7½-inch gauge “riding” railroad modeled after the Orange Belt Railroad that ran through the area in the late 1800’s. Since 2006 the volunteer membership has installed about 8500 feet of track. Climb aboard for special “Train to the North Pole” Christmas runs in December.

Childs Park Recreation is celebrating 32 years in the St. Petersburg community as it reopens with activities in the renovated facility, which now features a new teaching kitchen, dance room, fitness center, lobby and offices in addition to the gymnasium, teen room, program rooms, swimming pool, park and playspace. A ceremonial ribbon cutting and project recognition take place at 10 a.m. Then tour the new facility and enjoy refreshments and festivities until 3 p.m.
