What’s Doing?
Spirit People Intertribal Family, Inc. will present their three-day Fall Pow Wow this weekend on the grounds of Starkey Ranch. The event will feature Native American drums, flutes and dancing. Listen to the storytelling and flute music of JJ Kent, watch a flint knapper demonstrates the art of making arrows, and browse Native American handmade arts and crafts. Then, stop by the food booths to enjoy fried bread, Indian tacos and more. Grand entries honoring all Veterans will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, and at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
