Cost: Admission and parking are FREE, however some merchants/vendors will charge a fee; Festive treats (Hogfather BBQ, cotton candy, kettle corn, funnel cakes, hot dogs, pretzels, Dip-N-Dots, Whatever Pops, Kona Ice Truck and Simply Squeezed Lemonade) will be available for purchase.

NOTE TO PARENTS: This evening will also feature the Village’s Craft Beer BREWhaha event, so please be aware that beer will be sold and served during this event.
What’s Doing?
Get the Halloween costumes ready because children will be trick-or-treating at participating merchant shops during Hyde Park Village’s annual Fall Festival from 5-7 p.m. Little ghosts and goblins dressed in their Halloween best will also be able to pick out their perfect pumpkin, as this is opening night for Hyde Park Village’s Pumpkin Patch. Hay rides will begin immediately following trick-or-treating at 7 p.m., and guests can dance to spooky songs spun by HOT 101.5’s DJ Change throughout the evening. The event will also feature:
— Bounce House
— Caricature artist
— Gyroscope
— Face painting
— Racing Reks: mini motor cars
— “Little Mac” the Antique Fire Truck
Here’s the schedule for the evening:
— 5-7 p.m.: Trick-or-Treat throughout the Village and performances by Miss Lisa’s Dance Studio
— 5-8 p.m.: Face painting and caricature artist
— 7 p.m.: Not-So-Haunted Hay Ride Begins
— 7-10 p.m.: Hot 101.5’s DJ Change spins the latest hits
Even Better! City Street Sweets will be decorating Ghost Peeps with Fondue and Spooky Cookies, Wicked Candy Apples, Haunted Caramel Apples, Creepy Caramel Apples with Fondue ($1-$6). Other participating merchants/vendors will include:
