Enter the Camp Bayou Photo Contest
Everyone is invited to participate in the Camp Bayou Photo Contest. Photos must be taken at Camp Bayou. It’s FREE to enter, and you can enter as many as you like. Your matted, unframed, 8×10 black-and-white or color photo entries must be submitted BEFORE October 20, 2012. Visit the Camp Bayou Nature Notes blog for complete contest guidelines, or pick them up at the Visitor’s Center. Photos will be judged by artist Bruce Marsh, and winning photos will be on announced and displayed at the Camp Bayou Fall Open House on Saturday, October 27 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Bring your entries to Camp Bayou during open hours — 9 a.m.-2 p.m. (Thurs.-Sat.) — or mailed them to Camp Bayou Photo Contest, c/o 106 Janie Street, Ruskin, FL 33570. International Observe the Moon Night Hike & Campfire
Time: 7:30-9 p.m.
Date: Saturday, September 22, 2012
Location: Camp Bayou
Cost: A $5 donation is requested to help cover the cost of supplies (Registration is required)

What’s Doing?
Bring the kids out for a 1-mile Night Hike with no flashlights. The hike will end at the campfire with s’mores and stories about the moon from around the world. This event is part of International Observe the Moon Night.
