What’s Doing?
Mathnasium of New Tampa will host this fun-filled competition where kids in grades 3-6 compete in three challenging math events:
— The Counting Game: tests a student’s ability to count from any number, to any number, by any number
— Magic Squares Challenge: students are awarded points for developing their own math problems
— Mental Math Workout: evaluates a student’s number sense by asking them to solve problems without pencil and paper
The TriMathlon is FREE and open to all kids in grades 3-6 attending public, private or home school. Students will first compete locally at Mathnasium of New Tampa. There will be certificates of achievement and goody bags for all participants, as well as medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.
