What’s Doing?
For those of you annual memberships to either The Florida Aquarium, Mosi or Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo, Swaptember is just around the corner! Take advantage of this Tampa tradition to use your membership and explore all these excellent attractions. September 4-30, 2012 annual Zoo pass holders are entitled to receive FREE admission to both The Florida Aquarium and MOSI. In turn, members of The Florida Aquarium and MOSI will also receive FREE admission to the Zoo during this time as part of the Swaptember reciprocal membership program. So start planning those play dates!
Here are some things you’ll need to know if you will be taking part in Swaptember:
— Members will need to show both their Membership card and a photo ID to gain access to any of the Swaptember partners.
— Swaptember is not valid for special events or exhibits.
— Parking is not included. MOSI and Lowry Park ZooZoo members must pay to park at The Florida Aquarium, while Aquarium and Zoo members must pay to park at MOSI. The Zoo offers FREE parking.
— If someone is not listed on the MOSI or Lowry Park Zoo Membership, they will not receive free entry. This means that guest passes will not be honored without a primary member present.
— A primary Member must be present when The Florida Aquarium membership is used to gain access to a Swaptember partner.
— Swaptember partners will not offer discounts on food, beverages or gift shop purchases.
— The Florida Aquarium Eco Cruise will not be available from September 4-20 due to annual maintenance.
— No outside food, beverages or coolers will be allowed into Lowry Park Zoo or The Florida Aquarium. However, if you have severe food allergies, you can contact Aquarium Guest Services in advance at (813) 273-4201 or Zoo Food Services at (813) 935-8552 ext 239) to make special arrangements that will meet your dietary needs.
