What’s Doing?
The Lutz community will salute the holiday with a hometown parade themed: “Live it Up in Lutz.” A Lutz Volunteer Fireman’s BBQ chicken lunch sale, cake bake auction, and the presentation of parade trophies will follow the parade at 11 a.m. Arrive early to watch the results of the 5K and 1-mile fun run and family walk, which begins at 8 a.m., and the flag raising ceremony which precedes the parade at 9:30 a.m.
Parade route: The parade will begin at Crooked Lane Road and proceed east along Lutz-Lake Fern Road toward the business district.
