Lowry Park Zoo is celebrating Independence Day with a week of activities:
— July 1-7: FREE Admission for Military Personnel
Lowry Park Zoo is honoring members of the military with FREE admission applies to active duty military, reservists or members of the Guard (with a valid military I.D.) and up to three direct dependents. (NOTE: Military member must accompany dependents. Free tickets must be the lesser value if more than three dependents in attendance. Not valid with any other discounts or offers.)

Visitors can play the “A to Z Scavenger Hunt Challenge.” Completed scavenger hunt forms will be entered into a drawing to win a 37” LCD HDTV from Buddy’s Home Furnishings and a special gift from Verizon Fios.
— July 7: Teddy Bear Picnic (During Summer Safari Night from 5-7 p.m.)
Kids are encouraged to bring their favorite stuffed bear for the extended Zoo hours and enjoy some fun and games with Radio Disney AM 1380.
