What’s Doing?
Chick-fil-A’s newest stand-alone restaurant will be opening in Lakeland, FL on June 14 and will celebrate this grand opening by awarding a one-year supply of FREE Chick-fil-A® Meals (52 certificates) to each of the first 100 adults in line (age 18 and older with identification) at the new Lakeland restaurant. The line officially opens at 6 a.m., on Wednesday, June 13, with the FREE meal cards being awarded Thursday, June 14, sometime between 6-6:10 a.m. The restaurant will open for business immediately thereafter.
NOTE: If there are more than 100 people by 6 a.m. on Wednesday, all 100 spots will be determined by a raffle that morning. Please read the official Chick-fil-A First 100 rules.
According to the Chick-fil-A press release, people usually arrive more than 24 hours in advance of an opening carrying tents, lawn chairs, computers and all kinds of other gear to make their wait for a FREE year of Chick-fil-A meals entertaining. Wednesday, June 13 will take on a tailgate-type atmosphere complete with dancing, food, games and prizes for those camping out. This event is always full of interesting stories and photo opportunities, like the couple who celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at their 50th Chick-fil-A Grand Opening.
