What’s Doing?
Downtown St. Petersburg’s Fourth of July festivities will take place at The Pier, as well as the evening fireworks display (9 p.m.) Or if you prefer, the fireworks can be seen from most of the city’s waterfront parks.
Activities at the Pier will include:
— Live bands performing throughout the day and evening (see site for band schedule)
— Face painting (12-9 p.m.; fee)
— The “One Man Band,” who will be strolling throughout The Pier and out front (4-8 p.m.)
— Fritz from Fritzy Brothers One Man Circus (1-8 p.m.)
— Power Skipper will perform his jumping antics (1-5 p.m.)
— Dance Heads: You can be a STAR in your own dance/music video. DVD’s are FREE for you and your friends who are participating, and you choose your own song. (2-5 p.m.; in the Dockside Activity Room)
— Fireworks (9 p.m.)
