What is Parents as Teachers?
Parents as Teachers is a FREE, in-home service that aims to help build on parents’ own strengths using the most up-to-date research on brain science, child development, and early learning. They provide information on child development and will show parents how to create homemade toys that encourage development and foster the parent-child relationship. Parents as Teachers serves all families in Hillsborough County, prenatally until kindergarten entry.
