World Oceans Day is June 8, but The Florida Aquarium will be celebrating all weekend long with special activities and programs you and your family can enjoy as you explore the various habitats throughout the facility. Learn what The Florida Aquarium is doing to help protect the Ocean and the creatures that call it home, as well as easy ways that you can help, too. Enjoy ocean-themed crafts and activities throughout the Aquarium and special presentations each day.
Did you know? The world’s oceans cover 70% of the Earth’s surface. They are also being threatened by pollution, habitat damage, overfishing, coral reef bleaching, and species loss. The Florida Aquarium is involved in research, education, advocacy and action that address these threats.
