Bring the kids to Sweetwater Organic Community Farm for a FREE kid-inspired Earth Day celebration. A fun day in planned … all with kids in mind!
— Create Earth Day costumes, signs and musical instruments out of recycled materials for the parade
— Take a kid’s-view farm tour
— Participate in kid/parent yoga
— Get into the “Growing for the Future” kid’s painting workshop with local artist Terry Klaaren ($10 materials fee)
— March in the “Parade of the Future” kid parade with costumes and music
— Join in “Open Mic” on stage and sing songs with recycled musical instruments
Even Better! Enjoy Sweetwater Farms’ Sunday Market and visit earth-friendly vendors for healthy snacks and surprises to take home in a reusable bag, generously donated by Rollin’ Oats Market! (FREE reusable shopping bag while supplies last)
