What’s Doing?
Glazer Children’s Museum is teaming up with the American Red Cross to bring Bay area families fun, interactive programs focused on preventing, preparing for, and responding to emergencies. Activities will take place throughout the day and throughout the museum, teaching kids and their parents about water safety, first aid, bus stop safety and more. There will even be a first aid obstacle course to test what you’ve learned.
Program Schedule:
— 11 a.m.-12 p.m.: WHALE Tales Water Safety Class
— 12:30-1 p.m.: First Aid Class
— 1-2 p.m.: Disaster Preparedness Class
— 2:30-3:30 p.m.: Scrubby Bear Class
— 4-5 p.m.: Bus Stop Safety
Ongoing throughout the day:
— First Aid Obstacle Course
— Scrubby Bear germ test
— Compression-only CPR Classes
