What’s the Big Idea?
So a bunch of us Moms brought our preschoolers — along with bags and boxes full of clean recycleables, rolls of packing, and some markers — to a local park. We poured out the bags and boxes on a picnic table and let our imaginations run wild. Each Mom and child/ren picked through the items with the goal of creating something unique. My daughter and I made a dollhouse (which is still in her room today), some made recycle “people,” and there were a couple airplanes and rockets as well. Both kids and Moms had a blast turning trash into treasure!
We ended the play date with a snack (enjoyed al fresco, of course) and some playground play.
